Hi Adrian got my face to face assessment on Wednesday 29th May at home I did send lots of up to date evidence from consultant occupational therapist GP other consultant so thought there would be enough to make a decision on the paper and evidence does everyone have a face to face assessment and do you have any advice about home assessments thanks0

Most people have face to face assessments, it's rare to have a paper based one.Home assessments are the same as attending one of their centres, the only difference is it's at home where you feel a little more comfortable. You'll be asked questions based on how your conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors. They will be watching you from the minute they arrive to the minute they leave. Assessment time can be anything from 15-90 minutes depending on how many questions they ask you. If you kept a copy of the form you sent it maybe a good idea to have a read through to remind yourself before the assessment. The process of the assessment will be to verify your answers and possibly to get more information about your conditions and how you're affected. This link may help. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/help-with-your-claim/your-assessment/Good luck.
