I joined UC at the very start and have worked on all elements. if you have a private DM option I can willingly give you my history.

I want to help by giving honest and truthful answers to peoples questions. my peers regard me as an expert and I want to share a little of my knowledge to help at least one person with a smoother transition to universal credit.

@UCExpert  It's not your fault, and I respect that.

But its not a good system, and I campaign against it.

Its wrong on all counts, and theirs people in this situation on legacy benefits that can't and will not understand how to do it and maintain a claim online?

It raises serious concerns for people with MH, trust issues, need I go on No I don't think I do.

If you still or involved with the DWP please forward these concerns through the proper channels for which I have been doing.

And to add here is Amber Rudd's all time hits.

Also what this Tory Government is also trying to do, and it's working.

And while I'm here this Government have already been using from one benefit to another, why keep putting claimants through all these assessments when the DWP already share it with other benefits they have done for many years.

by all means, if you are asked a question please forward it to me and ill be more then happy to help.  Universal Credit is here to stay. I only want to do my bit to help.

    @UCExpert

I thank you for your honesty.

I don't need anything answering thank you. But I will create so much fuss with peers in power regarding this and a press release will be forthcoming in the not to distant future.

I know you know it's wrong in many ways, but I will let you think on that one.

UC will be disabled at some point.

I wish you luck. but I have to state one fact. I need not think on thinking about anything,  My conscience is clear. I'm honest and help multiple people daily.

so I have to ask... what would your solution to UC being scrapped be?

@UCExpert all I can say, you would have read, or heard many stories, articles in the national papers regarding suicide victims because of these policies and not been able to tell their story of how they are being treated by all these false assessments etc

And when people are desperate that's why they take their lives as they see no other way out, apart from death, and their story's never get told and all they become is a statistic.

Solution to UC being disabled is when the Managed Migration starts in the not to distant future, but the DWP has not even got the draft pilot regulations through yet.

Watch this space for further updates.

Good to hear your Conscience is clear.

@UCExpert it's great you want to help people with UC?

As you already would know when claimants have a WCA and then found fit for work the DWP then send a letter called ESA/UC65B letter telling people's GPs not to provide fit notes. Disgusting.

But a few of us working with various charity's against the DWP and with the help of the ICO it has now changed as of last week.

    Here is that letter.

So I hope now the DWP will stop using underhand tactics to deny claimants what they deserve.

We will bring justice for claimants.

No it's wrong underhanded tactics by the DWP, and Tory Government use to deny claimants a fair hearing, and forcing claimants Gps to deny them fit notes?

Engage, or not, you know this system is corrupt.

It’s very brave if you to sign up to any public site and announce your role as you’ll sadly take the brunt of criticism for government policy!! It’s great you’re wanting to help people move over more seamlessly, there can be lots of problems with people’s claims and the more they can be educated the better!!
That's exactly my aim.. I can take criticism. As long as it's not personal and as long as I'm not singled out. All I want to do is help.

    Hello @UCExpert,

I need to contact my UC case manager, How do ensure I am talking to the right person?

    Thanks.

Hi @getinolde. your case manager is linked to your account. when you leave a journal entry it goes in to the case managers dashboard to answer, much like this forum.  if you call and your case manager is in and online then you will be directed to your case manager. if your case manager is not online or on another call, it will be directed to the team. case managers work within teams.  Case Mangers will only give there first name. Although I must ask why you feel its important to make sure you feel you are talking to the right person? as some case managers us a different name any way for safety.

Quoting a comment of mine from a different thread ...

"Just called the 0800 328 5644 UC helpline, they didn't have a clue how to advise me and just referred me back to my work coach."

I am on the phone to them again while I type this - 38 minutes so far.

Call just ended after 40m 23s - I shall comment on the call in my original thread.
