In 2019, we want to celebrate our wonderful Community Champions and so each month, we will be giving one of our champions the new Community Champion of the Month badge.

Community Champions are our team of volunteers who are the friendly, welcoming face of our community, they work with us to make our community a safe, supportive space for us all.  They give up their time freely to support us all and we are so honoured to have them all on board.

This month, we would like to give a very special thank you to the July Community Champion of the Month @Ails

Ails hasn't been a Community Champion long, but in a short space of time she's worked hard to be a fantastic member of our community, welcoming new arrivals and supporting others during difficult times. We're glad to have you with us @Ails. Thank you!

Every one of our champions is so special to us and I know how special they are to all our community members too, so I hope you join us in congratulating them each month this year.

    OMG, what a lovely surprise as I have just logged in to see this!  Thank you so much for awarding Champion of the Month to me as I wasn't expecting it at all as I haven't been in the role long and so I wouldn't have imagined I would receive this.  I am so touched and happy to receive it.  Thank you so much to everyone for their support and kind words since I have started, both fellow Community Champions and the Community Team have been fab!   This is a wonderful Community and I am proud to be part of it and contribute to it.  Thank you also for all of the lovely comments and sorry for the delay in acknowledging this.  xx  :smiley:
