Hi all,
I applied for a badge under the new criteria at the beginning of this month, and yesterday received a phone call to make a payment of £10. So my application was accepted and I should receive the badge in 7-10 days. I scored 10 points under the planning and following a journey descriptor for PIP.
I am so glad, this will make such a big difference to my life, and will allow me to attend appointments that I have not been able to for years. This change will help so many people.
Just posting because I myself had wondering if any one else had been accepted under the new criteria yet.

Hi lily1920. I have applied for my autistic son. He scored full marks on PIP for not being able to make a journey alone. I had to send lots of documents and have now been asked to get a professional who has known him 3 years to sign a document. A doctor isn't allowed and he hasn't seen any of the listed professionals since he was about 9, he is now 18. Looks like he could be turned down.0

Sadly, scoring 12 points in following and planning a journey will not automatically qualify you for the BB. My daughter is exactly the same
