Has anybody heard of these people? Social Prescribing sounds a lot like them.

Hi @Franstrahan, they probably are closely linked. Wellbeing can be looking at the whole person, with social prescribing helping to get people involved with the community.
Have you had any support from wellbeing?1 -
Inour are we have something called Staying Well...it`s for older folk....getting out into the community.

Hi Chloe. The local vicar put them on to me last winter but they were no help at all.
I'm going to give Social Prescribing a go. Think my counsellor can arrange that tomorrow.1 -

Thank you. Will let you know.1

WellBeing is a new marketing ploy by the NHS for the locations where those marketing their so called support services work.0
-
They didn't support me. They didn't do anything. Hoping Social Prescribing will be better.0
-
From my experience they are purely corrupt, failing to even understand the complex nature of my disability, unwilling to discuss living with my disability, not willing to read the research papers i provided regarding my disability. Just frauds.Franstrahan said:They didn't support me. They didn't do anything. Hoping Social Prescribing will be better.0 -
Not just me then. They should be looked into by whatever body governs all this.0

Due to the corrupt nature of the NHS complaints options, you can register a complaint, which is then totally ignored. Thye never investigate any complaints it is just one big fraud, run by the current government.0

Is this the “Wellbeing Service” you are talking about? I’ve just signed up with them to do some CBT so hope they can help me.0

One of the problems form my experience is that CBT does not even begin to address the complex nature of my disability.
Hopefully you may gain some benefit1 -
I’m staying open minded but I have had good and bad experiences with mental health professionals in the past, probably more bad than good sadly!
