PIP award ...new diagnosis

in PIP, DLA, and AA


I have a full PIP award. Numerous illnesses.
I now have a further diagnosis of lipodemea. No change to anything else. 
Do I need to inform the DWP/ Pip people?
What will happen please?  I cant cope very well mentally because of it all so the thought of more intrusive paperwork etc is worrying me. Please advise. What is the simplest thing to do with the least intrusive outcome. What are they likely to say if I telephone and just explain I have a new diagnosis to add to my list. I find the whole process so intimidating.

    No you have a full award so no need to add diagnosis as it's if you fit the discriotors  no matter how many diagnosis.

    Hi,

    PIP isn't about a diagnosis. The words "all changes must be reported" is very misleading, especially for PIP. You already have Enhanced for both parts and can't get a higher award than this so you don't need to do anything.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
