    i couldn't find the mental health thread to post this so I put it here.
    pls, move this post to a better thread if necessary.
    i contacted the Anxiety UK helpline and they told me that there are self-help apps available for anxiety sufferers which are free of charge at the moment: the CALM app is good for controlling the negative automatic thoughts that fuel anxiety attacks. it usually costs around £30 it's free now.
     Also HEADSPACE app. I haven't tried this one myself but it looks useful
