Hi all,
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope this finds you well during these difficult times. I hope it is ok if I am please able to share this with you as I know that it really helps me. I have Cerebral Palsy and this mainly affects me physically, however at times it can also have an impact on me emotionally.  As I have matured I have found ways to help me work through this and one of the ways is to read an inspirational quote. I was given many of these when I was encouraged to do this and I wondered if it would please be ok if I share a few.
'The best view comes after the hardest climb'
'You must do the things you think you cannot do'
'Believe you can and you are half way there'
'A champion is defined not by their wins, but by how they recover when they fall'
'It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task, which more than anything, will affect it's successful
outcome'.
'Keep your face always towards the sunshine, and the shadows will fall behind you'
'I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination'

'Nothing is impossible. The word itself say I'm possible'

Thank you for letting me share.

Thank you @WestHam06 for these inspirational quotes.
My parents always used to say to me, 'Aim for the stars.' I used to repeat this to my children adding, 'if you don't get there, it doesn't matter; at least you'll know you tried.'
My son was inspired by Rudyard Kipling's poem 'If' as a young boy, which I'm sure most people know; it combines many of things mentioned in your quotes, so I'd like to share that too, if you don't mind. See: https://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poem/if-by-rudyard-kipling

    Hi @chiarieds
How are you? Thank you for sharing the quotes that your family share, very true and very inspiring. Also, love the poem 'If', I had not heard of it so thank you for sharing it with us. Please do if you know of any more then share, a poem I turn to is 'Don't Quit' by John Greenleaf Whittier. Thank you.

Some lovely quotes here guys! Thanks for sharing. :)

Here are some of my favourites:

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."

“I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.”

The poem 'If' is very special to me but my favourite quote is from Arthur C Clarke:

‘Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.’

    Hi all,
I wondered if people could please, if they would like too, share their thoughts on the following quote 'You mean something, to someone, somewhere'. Thank you.

I think that's really sweet @WestHam06. We are all important and cared about, even if we don't realise it.

These are lovely quotes and poems so thanks for starting the post, @WestHam06.

    Here are a couple I like -

"Push yourself because no-one else is going to do it for you".

And as Robert Burns said, "There is no such uncertainty as a sure thing".

    Hi @Chloe_Scope
Thank you for your kind words and I completely agree, we are all important and cared about. I made the quote up but wasn't sure if it had been used before and just wondered what other people thought so thank you for your thoughts. :)
