Had phone assessment today only lasted twenty five mins

I applied in Dec had my tel assessment last week and got a text to day it will take 6 weeks now to get a decision. I'm in the South and with Independent Assessment services (previously atos). My assessment lasted an hour and the lady was really nice and she had obviously read my form.

She seemed reasonably well informed about my epilepsy but who can be sure until you see the report. She did make me laugh though she said, do you drive much. Well I'm not being funny but when you are having several seizures a week it's fairly obvious that you are not able to have a license.

Do you receive a text from dwp when they have received assessment report?
-
I received a text from DWP when they had received the report, yes.
-
How long was that after your assessment
-
About a week. I had a paper based assessment. I then received a letter about 3 weeks later saying the same as the text. I received my decision 2 weeks after the letter.
-
I received a text but I’ve heard it’s all depending on what selection they have made on the assessment process whether the select to text or not, just read that on another site today ?
