Hi, does anyone know of any charities that run a Youth Council? We are in the process of developing one and it would be good to find out from those who up have an established one what worked and what didn't work. Thank you

Hi @NPUK
I've marked this post as unanswered to help it get more attention and maybe some good suggestions!
The British Youth Council website has lots of good resources as an initial starting point. Have you had a look at that?
Good luck with this going forwards, it sounds like a worthwhile project.0 -
Hi @NPUK
Not a charity, but Southwark Council have had a successful youth council for many years.

Someone else who may be able to assist is the NFTMO, they have also been promoting youth councils for a few years now. They may be able to signpost groups that are running them.

Good luck with your endeavours.1 -
@Geoark I contacted Southwark Council last week but no one has got back to me yet. All the other organisations/charities i've contacted have all said they don't have a Youth Council. I need to get in touch with NFTMO too. I'll keep you posted on how i get on and thanks again for your help.0
