@woodbine I will probably start watchig in the early hours and see how much TV I can blag before the little one wakes up and she has to have Baby TV on according to Mummy.
-
No thanks will wait till tomorrow to find out
-
@janer1967 It will give a good indication but if some states are close the postal votes may take days to tally.
-
I'm off tomorrow so will definitely be watching it.
America is strange, while the people get a vote the final decision is down to the electoral college, and while this normally provides the vote in line with the election it does not have to.
I think which ever way it goes it should prove an interesting time for a few months. As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.

I stayed up for... longer than I should have, but obviously it's still going on. It'll take a little while before we know, especially as it's so close at the moment!
The electoral college system is certainly interesting @Geoark. I'd really recommend reading this article in The Atlantic if you haven't already. -
I remember staying up when Obama was elected the first time and watching his inspiring acceptance speech, this year I'd lost the will to live by 3 a.m and went to bed, almost 24 hours later and we still don't know who's won, but i'll stick my neck out and call it for Biden.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

I didn't stay up for Obama because I was too young, but I stayed up for Trump's win in 2016 @woodbine. I remember it so vividly because it was snowing outside, I was delirious with sleep deprivation, and the result felt surreal, if not grimly unsurprising.
Brave call! -
What are your guys' thoughts on it at the moment? All to play for!
-
It looks like Biden is ahead but I’m not sure on how to properly interpret the results!
-
This BBC article covers quite a few good FAQs @66Mustang. It's definitely difficult when it's taking so long to count all the votes!
-
I'm still saying Biden but we won't know till tomorrow2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡
