Sad news, he wore the Darth Vader suit in the original Star Wars trilogy, however he had a very thick Bristol accent so they used James Earl Jones as the iconic Darth Vader voice.
Also during the mid to late 70's he played the "Green Cross Code Man" on British TV, a role someone else should revive for today's kids IMO but that's a discussion for another topic.

Never knew much about the man himself, but the magnetism of Darth Vader was always just as much about the presence and body language of Dave Prowse as it was the voice of James Earl Jones. It's a shame he never got quite the recognition he deserved, but without him an iconic movie villain isn't nearly so memorable.Community Manager
