For those who don't qualify for carers allowance, carers credit can be useful for paying your N.I cont.

I think it's about time children who are carers get something I know they are not of working age but sometimes they are full time carers meaning the gov doesnt have to provide a funded carer
I reward my son out of my PIP as that is there to help with cost of care -
@janer1967 agree entirely you read about kids as young as six being unpaid carers and it's wrong that there efforts go unrewarded, even a token amount like £20 a week would make a huge difference to them.
But I thought the carers credit might be useful for some who don't get N.I credits because they don't qualify for CA.
