Hi all I have a phone assessment on the 27th January 2021, due to covid, I have hip osteoarthritis in both hips, and have done for the past six months, I thought because of the statement I gave the assessor over the phone I would get pip because of all the things I physically can't do no more, got my decision back got 0 points on everything, I can't drive because of my condition but apparently I drive an automatic car, I can cook but told my daughter does the cooking, told them I don't leave the house cause can't manage it, but apparently I do, I've put in appeal just to to wait and see what happens

    Hi @Popdiva43
So sorry to hear you were awarded no points.
I also have osteoarthritis in my feet hands and currently waiting on 2 knee replacements. Also a few other issues.
After my assessment I received 6 points for DL so no award, I was awarded standard mobility,
I sent some records from my doctor from the consultant at the hospital she also wrote a short letter.
My mobility was changed at MR stage to enhanced.
I was so grateful for it but felt I was due DL to so went to appeal.
My daughter sent in a letter stating everything she needs to do for me and how she felt I was coping or more not coping.
Sorry for long post I just hope your award is also changed.
    Good luck and take care.

hi hun,im sorry for the condition that you have as i know its bloody painful,my legs start to go numb now, which in itself wants to make me cry. When i had my assessment it was over the phone so the lady couldnt even see me,i told them that i acn no longer leave the house,as can hardly walk i use crutches,my daughters help round the house,as cant manage,i had to wait three months to see my physio because of coronvirus, she has referred me as an emergency to see a specialist,i have lld which i also told the assessor,so that effects my spine, and i got zero points on everything,so filled in form to take pip to tribunal sent it and its got lost in post so have to do it all again

You seem to at the exact same stage as me, I had my assessment on 4th feb, assessor reported everything I told her that I can and can't do correctly (ish) but in the report stated there was no evidence and like you I told her that someone else in the household does the cooking, this is apparently untrue, I scored zero points. I went ahead with an MR sending doctors and specialist letters etc to confirm my symptoms and the daily effects they have on me and found out yesterday its been declined, I've not had the letter yet so don't know much more then that but I will be going for a tribunal
