Work consultation

Hi, I currently work 3 days a week in an admin role 8.30-4. My employer is holding a consultation as my team will be downsized. I have to interview for my role and if I’m not successful will be moved to a call centre role. This would mean shift work 8-8 and I have been told that there is no guarantee that the flexible days/hours I have in place currently will be honoured.
In my consultation feedback I’ve made them aware that my disibility (ME) means that working shifts and on the phone all day would not be practical. However, I’m worried that as my days and hours are under a flexible working policy and not contracted hours they can change them whenever they want.
I did provide them with a letter in 2012 from GP advising the change in hours was for medical reasons. Would it be worth requesting a new one as I’ve dropped more hours since then?
