Hi there
I'm not sure but would think it means you haven't submitted any evidence that this condition has been looked at by a specialist
Do you take any medication for it have you been referred anywhere for it
Does this affect the awardvuiy have been given? -
on my medical report that i sent to the DWP my GP forgot to add that i have osteo arthritus on my fingers in both hands i am in the process of contacting my GP to try and get this sorted to get updated GP medical report i think that is why it said THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS FOR YOUR LEFT HAND ARTHRITIS any ideas ?

Hi Matt i am totally confused can you please explain in simple terms remember i am a disabled adult , the award letter i got it said THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS FOR YOUR LEFT HAND ARTHRITIS any ideas ? this was ommitted on my gps medical report by mistake so the DWP couldnt see any evidence of this any ideas ? is this what it means ?

@tonyuka11, hello, reading your post it looks as if there is insufficient evidence to support your claim for arthritis in your left hand. There is or wasn’t hay hospital report, diagnosis confirmation, ect just a letter from your GP.

im totally confused in what you mean hospital report. diagnosis confirmitaion that you said i dont understand as i am a disabled adult ON MY GPS REPORT MY GP FORGOT TO ADD THAT I HAVE OSTEO ARTHRITUS IN BOTH HANDS FINGERS JOINTS MY GP DIAGNOSED THIS NOT A HOSPITAL will a doctors medical report be ok for this to my previous information given..if you check in my prev post in capitals highlighted it may give you a bit of insight thanks look any ideas ?

If you have not provided any evidence about this condition that will be what the report is suggesting
Relevant evidence would be what your gp submitted so if if was missed off then they only gave your form and what you put to go on
Evidence can be gp letter as it hadn't been diagnosed by a hospital consultant, treatment and meds can also count as evidence
But after all this it isnt a diagnosis that gets points it us how the condition affects you . Best evidence would be letter or statement from someone who sees you and how this affects you -

What they are saying is that you haven't been referred to a hospital for it to be looked into further.
It doesn't mean they don't think you have it.
It just means that you haven't seen a hospital specialist.
If you have been awarded PIP would that diagnosis letter really make a difference to the points you scored?Mum of one little girl.

I am totally confused in the comments because I am disabled I will try again ,and explain as best I can !. 1. the after my pip award revue I was awarded points ok 2. on the letter they sent me its says HOW I MADE MY DESCION . 3.on that part of the letter it says THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY INVESTIGATIONS OF YOUR LEFT HAND ARTHRITIS 4.my GP has diagnosed that I have osteo arthritis on my left hand fingers and right hand fingers anyhow GPS are not seeing patients because of covid 19, any ideas my GP has told me there is no cure and it is degenerative the condition of osteo arthritis will this be adequate for the DWP descion maker ? Please Please please try and explain this it to me in simple terms because its now got to the stage thats causiong me to be chronically depressed ,that's now effecting my health worse please could you TRY and explain things to me in a way I can understand thank you ? even if it does take a little bit of time ? i would point out on my last PIP which was done many years ago at HOME the NURSE examined my left hand fingers and found it be weak in grip function, osteo arthritis does not go away it has now moved to my right hand fingers I have an older GP medical report that highlights that I have OT in right hand fingers from 2018 is this adequate ?

What we are asking is does it matter? Would there being a report about the arthritis give you more points to get a higher award?
If you wouldn't get extra points then it does not matter. I genuinely don't know how much more simple we can make the questions we are asking you.
Have you got anyone close to you who can talk you through it, who understands what you need to communicate better? It's hard to understand what it is you need us to tell you.
The statement that there is no proof of investigations into your left hand simply means that you were never sent to a hospital doctor for the diagnosis.Mum of one little girl.
