I have multiple clots in both lungs, along with pleural effusion. Should I apply for PIP?

Hi, 3 months ago I suffered PE with multiple clots both lungs along with Pleural effusion. Since this time I can waken up with my breathing laboured this can go on for days and then out of the blue I waken and my breathing is good. The days it’s bad I cannot get washed and dressing is a struggle. On these days I don’t go out because I am also lightheaded. My question is: should I apply for PIP or would I definitely not qualify. Thanks for your help..
