Today was one of the warmest March days at 24.2 degrees recorded in London, you have to go back to 1968 when it was 25.6 degrees to beat today.
Warm again tomorrow but Easter will be cold with possible snow showers, the British weather eh?

It's been about 18 degrees here outside, but just great; what a lovely day....got my clothes dried outside. Tbh I'm fairly thankful that the Easter weather might not be so good. Hopefully it will stop people travelling to tourist spots in their droves as travel should still be minimized.

@Oxonlady - I'm so sorry to read this. I know you're often in pain, & don't sleep well because of this, but sorry to read you've been so unwell too. Hope tomorrow is somewhat better for you. Sending gentle hugs to you.

@Oxonlady sort you are not well and missed the glorious weather today
Take care wish you a speedy recovery x -
Hi @lisathomas50, @chiarieds and @janer1967, thank you for your messages.
It's been a bit of a strange day. The District Nurse came to do blood tests but later rang me to say that the bottles broke in her bag so they'll have to be done again tomorrow.
When the Nurse saw my legs this morning she said they were infected and bandaged them up. Within a couple of hours my legs swelled up even more and were hurting a lot, so my Carer had to remove the bandages.
I've been in dreadful pain but I'm hoping that once the antibiotics kick in the pain will be bearable.
The whole thing made me feel quite low but I'm trying to stay optimistic.
I appreciate your support. -
@Oxonlady oh gosh sorry to hear your going through this hope things get better for you and you feel better soon
-

Thank you @woodbine. Sleep well.

If you get any worse through the night please ring 999 .
Infections can make you feel so poorly and can soon spread but hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick
