Hello, I work for a local heritage site and we need a ramp to go over some steps outside the building for wheelchair users. We need to be able to remove it when we close in the winter. Can anyone help with how I might go about this? Thank you, Joley

Google it! This is how I got my ramp by post or you could look for any suppliers in your area and see if you can go and have a look at them.

Hi
I would suggest you contact the council and ask them to assess the entrance
As this is a public attraction you need to ensure it meets health and safety regulations and your public liability insurance isn't compromised
I certainly would not recommend just getting one off the Internet as it isn't for your own personal use -
Thank you very much for your reply, I shall indeed contact the local council for advice.

Maybe my last comment was a little flippent however there are charities out there that do access audits at a cost and they will look at all areas and assess if they cover all types of disability to ensure you meet the Equality act and present you with a report. These are usually disabilty charities and use trained disabled people to carry them out.

Hi, Does it needs to comply with DDA requirements or with Building Regulations? Rapid Ramp does a removable and fixed option:
Fixed ramp - https://www.rapidramp.co.uk/modular-ramps
threshold rubber ramp - https://www.rapidramp.co.uk/rapid-edge-ramp
Heritage page: https://www.rapidramp.co.uk/heritage
I hope this helps
