Hi, my name is Maggie2! Do they backdate to when I put my claim in?

Hi can any one help me,I was on DLA lower rates for both I applied for pip in February,I got the letter yesterday saying I have been given enhanced daily living,& standard rate mobility,do they back date from when I put my pip claim in as there was no mention of back pay on letter.thank you?

    For a DLA to PIP transfer the PIP will start about 4 weeks after the decision is made.
