I asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration 13 weeks ago, and haven't heard back. What are my chances?

My PIP claim came back with 0 points for daily living and 4 points for mobility. So i asked for a mandatory reconsideration that was 13 weeks ago and haven't heard nothing back! I'm not holding my breath for a favourable outcome but what are the chances ??

Hi,There are no timescales for any decision but sometimes it can take more than 12 weeks for the MR. We've had members that have been successful and some that haven't. Whether you're entitled to PIP will totally depend on how your conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Once the decision's been made it takes 24 hours for them to be able to see it.

Oh well, wouldn’t see why it would make a difference.

That makes no sense because your MR request is for PIP. I've heard of plenty of people that have had the MR decision over the phone. If the decision was only made yesterday then it takes 24 hours for them to be able to see that decision.

That doesn't mean they can see what that decision was.

None of them are “qualified” in that sense. They are call handlers. If the letter is attached to your claim on the system then they are able to read it to you.As myself and poppy have said, we know others have had this done.
