PIP tribunal waiting times

I will be sending my appeal this month, I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long rougly it will take until the tribunal?

I'm definitely unable to attend due to my condition, but I'm guessing that doesn't make it any quicker.

The hearing will take place via telephone and it will be in your best interests to take this option. Paper based decision's have a very low success rate, of less than 10%.
    The wait is 11-16 weeks.

     Thank you so much.

Please can let me know where it says that paperbased has a low success rate as I would like to read it, I've tried looking but been unable to find anything.

We didn't attend my teens PIP tribunal and won, but now I'm worried. Also we didn't attend my teens DLA tribunals but now I'm thinking that might be different to PIP.

DLA and PIP are different. I don't believe the success rates of paper based hearings are announced either but they are low, this advice comes from a very knowledgeable member on here.
For best chance of success it really is best that you attend the hearing... through telephone, as advised.

If you opt for a paper based hearing sometimes it's not always possible for them to make a decision on paper alone, so they will ask you to attend in person (through telephone in this case)
