Hello everyone , Around August I sent back my PIP Award Review questionnaire form and still have not heard anything back from them and was just wondering if I need to phone them or leave it? they are still paying me every month and today have sent me a letter confirming the new rates I am getting from April but I am worrying everyday and worrying about another assessment, when I first claimed PIP they sent a lady to my home to do the assessment and she put me at ease and made the assessment pleasant however I have heard they do telephone assessments now and I cant speak on the phone as my anxiety gets really bad speaking on the phone to people as my telephone rings and I never pick it up. should I contact them to arrange a home visit assessment or just wait for them to book an appointment for me and then arrange a new one? I have been on PIP since 2018 and this is my first award review so don't know how it works. Thanks for any advice

There's huge backlogs of people waiting for assessments so this is why you haven't been contacted. Most people have assessments, which will either be telephone or face to face at an assessment centre. I'm not aware of home assessments starting back yet.Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.0
