PIP and seizure frequency

Hello all
My seizures sometimes cause LOC. But I havent had LOC for around 8 months now. I could still have LOC with my seizures but it seems a long time to go without.
Im wondering does that mean medically Im better and how will this affect my PIP. Is it change of circumstance, as in I am better or is seizure frequency not taken into account

Hello @mark869
Wishing you a warm welcome to the community, it's nice to have you aboard and I hope you've had a good day.
I'm not sure whether frequency is taken into account or not but hopefully other members with experience of this may be able to answer that particular query. Your discussion is in our PIP category which has plenty of other discussions relating to PIP entitlement and changes in circumstance that you may find it useful to look through.
I just wanted to check regarding your condition, are you well supported to manage it? It's good that you haven't had LOC in a while, although I imagine that you still feel concerned about it.
Take care

Mine are the dissassociative seizure type. But I was getting LOC type. They investigated me for heart stuff too. What do you think? I guess I could still have LOC but am unsure what to do.0

PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect you against the 12 PIP activities. We can't tell you what you should do because we don't know exactly how your conditions affect you.You need to get some expert advice from an agency near you. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

Citizens Advice are sometimes the only organisation that show up @mark869. It depends on what's available in your area. Have you tried speaking to them?0
