So I have just been awarded pip they said they will send a letter out explaining my decision/award within 2 weeks can I phone them up and ask for them to explain it over the phone as well ? Also do I get anything backdated from when I applied

You can ring PIP and they will tell you what exactly the award is. 0800 121 4433 they are open between 9-5, it's better to ring them as soon as they open.If it's first time claim and you're not transferring from DLA then you'll be owed money from the date you rang to start your claim (providing you had the conditions for at least 3 months)Money usually goes into your bank before you receive the decision letter.0
