Hi their I finally got my decision letter on the 13th march 2022 saying I have limited capability for work and would be put on the lcwra element backdated from the 15th December 2021 when I first handed in sick notes. I have now passed 4 assessment periods since the 13th march and have still not been put on lcwra.

Was the decision definitely LCWRA and not just LCW? If it was LCW then you won't receive any extra money. If it was LCWRA and you're claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element then you won't receive it for yourself because you can only claim one per claim.

Thankyou for your comment. I wondered that myself but I phoned up and they told me over phone that it was lcwra an extra payment of £350 I think and that my claim would be backdated from the 15th December. But then they also said that they send out decision letters far too early and that it usually is a 3 month waiting period until I will see a change in payments as they have to calculate how much is owed, I am also on a single claim, I was just wondering if anyone has waited longer as I am now 5 months on from my decision.0

You normally get the additional payment on the next uc payment after decision is made as long as the waiting period has been completed which yours had
You wait longer for backpay which is paid seperate
Put a note on your journal mark it payment query and ask why you have not had the lcwra element added to your claim and when you are likely to get your back pay0 -
The LCWRA element would be payable from either April or May depending on the dates of your assessment periods or when you usually receive payment each month. This is because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time.
