I've had my assessment. How long will I have to wait? Will they go off the assessor's report?

So what was the decision about starting your claim from when you came out of hospital? Not completing certain parts shouldn't make any difference because the form was still sent out to you.

@poppy123456 they are claiming i never got that far on the phone call which seems odd, surely the fact they had all my information would of been enough?0
-
Just read back through the thread and in your first comment you said "you tried to claim back in August 2021" did you actually receive the forms after that phone call? or did you ring again when you were home? and that was when they sent your form?

@poppy123456 they are saying I rang to request to make a claim for pip I got through certain parts of the call but not others, they are saying because I didn't finish that call I wasn't asked certain questions and answers certain disclaimers and that's why they won't pay me got anything before April 20220
-
After that phone call in August last year did they send out the form to you?As advised, they won't pay you from August anyway because you were in hospital at that time.0
-
@poppy123456 they are saying they didnt0
-
So when you filled out the form on 20/04/2022 when did you ring to start that claim? Sorry for all the questions but i can't give the correct advice without all the information.

@poppy123456 I filled that form out on 20/04/2022 as soon as they sent it I did it online I rang same day.0
-
Than i can't see how your claim can start from when you came out of hospital if the call in August wasn't completed. If it was completed a form would have been sent out to you.

Hi @poppy123456 i went to citizens advice today and they have said i should MR for the dates im suggesting as the fact i made an effort to make a claim but couldnt finish the call shouldnt go against me. PIP have said my last call with them wasnt a MR but purely advise that i wouldnt be paid anymore. If i do a MR will my next payment be frozen until a decision is made on the MR if that makes sense.0
-
It sounds like you had a positive conversation with citizen's advice today @Awiddup13. How are you feeling about it all at the moment?
If we can do anything to support you please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are all here for you

A little stressed @L_Volunteer because i have to do the Limited work one on Monday and i feel im repeating myself and i hate going over what happened and how it affects me0

Your award will continue while you wait for the MR decision. You need to make sure you state clearly that you're happy with the award but are requesting the to take a look at when your claim started from....IE when you came out of hospital and not when you rang to start your claim in August 2021. You will need to give your reasons why you didn't ring to apply again when you came out of hospital.

I will do @poppy123456 and will keep you updated0
