3-5 working days for the backpayment. Monday is a Bank Holiday so it’ll be delayed slightly. The letter up to 2 weeks. The automated line isn’t 100% reliable so I would wait to see what the letter says first.1

Ok thanks very much for your reply,if the automated service was correct would the £621 payment be the back pay or the monthly pip amount do you no?Thanks again 👍🏻0

Being the 13th of October it’s highly likely that’ll be your normal 4 weekly sum. Are you sure it was £621 or £627.60? Back payments will be made from the date you applied.0

I only heard it once pretty sure it was £621 but i could if been wrong? Why does that not sound right? Does it seem like the higher rate that? And thats not my back pay then? Thanks for your help 👍🏻0

The reason I asked is because it doesn’t add up to anything lower than enhanced/enhanced which £627. From experience of hearing from others backpayments don’t seem to show on the PIP automated line. When you get your letter you’ll find out anyway and that shouldn’t be too long now. Great news on your award too.0

£627.60 every 4 weeks is Enhanced for both parts. As bg844 has advised, you will receive the money they owe you first and then your first 4 weekly payments start 4 weeks later. You can either ring them on Tuesday when they open and ask what the award is or wait for the decision letter to arrive and this will tell you what award you have, the award length and a breakdown of where you scored the points.0

Ok thank you to both of you for your replies im not going to ring and miver them i think il wait for the letter with the break down. What i may do is phone the automated service again and see if it was £621 i heard. I will update on hear soon as i hear out. Thanks for your kind and helpful replies 👍🏻

Another quick question does your back pay start from when you made the first call to apply or when you sent your forms in? Thanks0
