Pension Credit is based on your mothers income so should not affect the claim. Housing Benefit will end, PIP/AA stays in payment.

If your mother will be living with you permanently and your Pension Credit includes the Severe disability Premium then you will lose this, unless your mother is either registered blind or receives either PIP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care or Attendance Allowance.
You will need to report the changes to Pension credit.

That is incorrect. If they claim for help with the rent OP should already be receiving full housing benefit because of their pension credit. If pension credit ends when the mother moves in then housing benefit would need to be recalculated. If pension credit continues then there will be no changes.

Thanks Poppy, I read the question completely the wrong way. I thought the ‘my’ said ‘her’ I thought OP was asking in regards to the mothers PC. Sorry about that :)

Yes, that’s what I thought. This advice here still applies.
