I had my assessment end of September awaiting outcome, I was wondering I am currently on legacy benefits, if awarded pip would I be moved straight to UC or would I remain on Income Support? Thanks

No you wouldn't because PIP has nothing to do with UC. If awarded then it would increase your Income Support. How much it would increase by will depend on what PIP award you may have and your circumstances. Best thing to do is post back here once you have a decision and if successfully awarded someone can give you more advice.

Thank you, I’ve put off changing from income support to disability payment, (not sure if it is still esa?) as didn’t want to be migrated onto UC due to change of circumstances claim, but unfortunately my conditions have severely worsened and need any help I can get money wise to help pay for extra support so decided to finally make a pip application. Will post when I receive my decision, hopefully not too long….0

There’s disability premiums payable when claiming Income Support if you receive a disability benefit such as PIP. It doesn’t require you to move to ESA, which you can’t anyway.0
