Hi. I had a tx saying my pip has been awarded on Tuesday this week. I haven’t had my letter yet. I put the claim in, in may this year. Will I receive a lump sum? I found the whole process very emotional, it’s so hard to talk to someone u have never met over the phone to be assessed, especially with my conditions. Thanks x

Any money owed will be paid into your bank first, providing you weren't transferring from DLA. It usually takes 3-5 working days after payment is sent. You will then receive the decision letter which will give you all the details you need, including what day to expect your future 4 weekly payments.0

Hello there @Narlaeve10 and congratulations on being awarded PIP, you're certainly not alone in finding the assessment process difficult emotionally. Well done for getting through it!
I hope Poppy's reply has also helped to reassure you, and that you can enjoy the weekend now it's all done
