There are huge backlogs of people waiting for review decisions and you're not the only person to be waiting more than a year. You will not be able to place an order for a motability vehicle unless you have at least 12 months remaining on your award. If you already have a motability vehicle the lease on this can be extended while you wait for the review decision. You'll need to contact motability to speak to them to extend your lease.0

I recognise that you were only trying to ask a question based on your own experience @robt. I am sorry to hear you were made to feel bad for asking.
Please know you are more than welcome to ask for help here. I like to think we are a supportive and friendly bunch.
We are all here for you and listening to you. You don't have to face this, or anything else, alone if you don't want to.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon

Losing access to a car is a big worry @robt I can understand that, and if you speak to mobility about the delay to your PIP review, they should be able to help extend your lease.
It's very stressful facing an increased wait during this process, so please do reach out whenever you need support. You're not alone in this and there is support out there

I have to say, Poppy can come across rude in some of her comments.1

Poppy doesn`t "fluff up" her responses (fill out comments with unnecessary words), she says it as it is.For the original poster, Poppy responded by:1) Answering robt`s question on how long the renewal will take.2) Verifying that there has to be 12 months remaining to order a new Motability vehicle.3) Putting forward an alternative solution in an attempt to allay the concern robt has over the vehicle.I don`t see any rudeness in any of her reply.2

Its very difficult to read someone's tone through a text and there's nothing rude in any of my comments. I've reported your comment to a member of the scope team.I also tried to help you in your thread but you didn't return to answer the questions. I read it the opposite way. In saying "you're not the only person to be waiting more than a year" is reassuring that it isn't unusual and that it isn't just them.
