Hi Ian, what new syptoms are you experiencing, don't for get with stenosis we can all be at different levels, have you been offered any operations. Mine only come on about three years ago now, but i have always had back issues ie; degenerative disc's, progressive curviture of the spine, i have been told i can't have any operations as my spine is not stable enough, so at the moment i am waiting for extra pain management from the hospital, but the waiting list is so long at the moment.
