Hi
Does anyone know at what point, a Motability grant-advance payment, gets paid to the dealer?
Is it at point of order? or when vehicle is collected and order completed?
It appears me dealer may not have contacted M Grant team. And the 3 month window has elapsed., Yet the dealer allowed me to take the vehicle today, knowing that the 3 months had passed and become void.
The manager of the dealership, asked me to contact the grants team Monday.
It doesnt make sense to me , why the dealer hasnt contacted the grants team in all this time?

When you pay an advance payment for a motability vehicle the money is put to one side and each time that DWP make the payment to motability an amount is taken from the advance payment to increase the monthly payment. This then happens each month throughout your lease. As I advised on your other thread you will need to contact motability on Monday.0
