Can anyone recommend a sturdy bed for a 19-year-old who likes bouncing?

Have you seen the tip for Tough Furniture in the Practical Tips section? www.independentliving.co.uk/tough/furniture

    Hi
We've been through numerous settees and beds! Also trampoline netting, he keeps trying to climb over it! But don't forget there are numerous grants out there to help with the costs.
    Keep bouncing!

Tough Furniture is the only solution that I've ever found that works! They can make it extra tough if the tough isn't tough enough.

But also important to provide additional sensory input - increase physical exercise, trampolines, swings etc

I heard of people putting plastic drinks crates (for beer bottles and the like) under a bed to give the slats extra support. They can be strapped together. Strong and fairly cheap but does reduce the bounc-ability a bit!
