Cost of living worse?

During the pandemic and now there seems to be this general idea that it's easier for those on disability but as far as I can see it was worse. The 150 cost of living payment was worth a weeks worth of electric/gas for some. We need to keep warmer and there's odd little costs you don't think of that add to costs. Makes you feel undignified I feel like. There are systems in place but it kind of makes you feel like they keep you alive not to thrive. No one chooses to be disabled but honestly I'm left feeling like a burden. Most of us during the pandemic were isolated so couldnt shop around so we're restricted to online stores, which were and still are expensive, none of that was thought about.

Hello @Sarabrl
Welcome to the community!
Are you keeping well today?
It is very hard for those with a disability in the cost of living crisis. Scope have been doing campaigns which I'd encourage you to read. And we even put out an advert on ITV.
