I had my wca assessment 6 months ago and have still not received an answer yet, nothing in my journal apart for reminding me to send sick notes from my doctor which he sends me every 4 months
Is this how long it normally takes thanks

That's rather a long time and not acceptable in my opinion. If you're having no joy from UC then i'd advise you to contact your local MP and they will hopefully contact UC on your behalf. That usually gets them shifted. https://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-an-mp-or-lord/contact-your-mp/You need to make sure you give your name and address and tell them exactly what's happened.

Hi Poppy
1 last question, I just had occupational health meeting and the doctor said he is recommending to my employer that they give me medical illness retirement.
Does that mean I won't have to look for work even if I don't get lowcra thanks0 -
Unfortunately, that will have to relevance to the WCA process. For LCWRA then at least one of the following descriptors needs to apply. Or "substantial risk" which you can see at "number 4" at the top.
