Becoming an Organ Donor with a pre-exsisting Disability.

Hi All, I have CP and I am beginning the screening process to become a kidney donor. I am a bit daunted at the thought of the recovery process. Has anyone else donated and what is it like? Many Thanks.

    Just watch out as you get older you may be on a lot of painkillers these usually affect the liver more than kidneys but could still need considering. I would still be prepared to donate if it was a family member. Brave you.
