Hi .Could someone please give me some advice am my daughters appointee.She on uc but been awarded lcwra ,am all new to this and have left a few journal messages,nobody has answered .Will she receive extra payments for being awarded lcwra and when the date on letter is 2nd Oct. Thankyou

    It’s an extra £390.06/month. It’s paid from the 4th month after you reported her health condition. Providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made.

    When it’s paid from exactly will depend on the answer to the following 2 questions.

    What date exactly did you report her health condition/send her first fit note?

    What date exactly does she receive her money each month?

    Hiya . 17th of the month she gets uc . First sick note 21st June for 3 months them another 3 months no gaps in between. Hope this helps

    Thanks. That means her waiting period will be July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct... LCWRA starts from assessment period 11th Oct to 10th Nov and first payment will be 17th Novemeber. No LCWRA element is owed. You will need to check her statement next month to make sure the LCWRA element is included.
