Hey @KVB111, I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering. Is there someone there with you to support you?
I'll pop your post in another category, so more people in the know will be able to see this and hopefully offer some support with your nutritional needs.0 -
That will be great thanks Albus , my wife is my rock1

Hello @KVB111, sorry to read about your issues with your stomach and the effect it's having on your depression, but glad to hear that your wife is supportive. It's so important to have someone there for you during tough times.
Do you have any contact with your medical team about your eating difficulties? If you're struggling to eat orally, they might be able to suggest alternatives to keep your nutrition up or refer you to someone who can help. I know the waiting times can be incredibly frustrating, but it's worth a try

Thanks for the advice I had a feeding tube last year and it was very good, I think I may have to look at this option! ?0

Hi @KVB111, it could be worth a go if your doctors are on board. Did you get on okay with it when you last had one?0

yes Rosie I had a face tube feeding tube going directly to my bowel and it was ok and I gained weight and it brought my whole body back to feeling better and sort of human . I am afraid I think my wife is correct she has said that I have an issue with food and I have an eating disorder and I think she is right . I just don’t want to eat and taking medication that doesn’t seem to be working0

Sorry to hear that @KVB111, it's definitely worth discussing your struggles with your GP or specialists and seeing if they can suggest some next steps for you.0
