    HI Chris

I am working for an award winning interative games company GamelabUK, we specialise in broadcast/animation/game programmes for those with learning disabilities. I am trying to raise awareness for a unique interactive game known as Boris using KinectV2 which helps develop communication skills of those who are non communicative/use Makaton. Developed mainly for independent living, secondary/FE level. Can be used at home as well with minimum of Window 8,Any ideas. We are in partnership with leading SEN, Swiss Cottage School, but trying to raise awareness with charities and parent groups. www.gamelabuk.com Any ideas. Boris was nominated/won several major awards end of 2015. We are a finalist in BETT Award 2016. Any ideas....

    Hi Helen,
That sounds brilliant, do you have a social media presence? The power of social media these days is incredibly strong and you can create a network of schools/charities who could perhaps help you in raising awareness.

Yes we do have a social presence on twitter. We have now produced a new version of Boris using Signalong language although we need to tweek a bit before selling. We trialled it at Swiss Cottage SEN school last week at a special event which went well.

Would you have any idea about how we could reach schools via social media/twitter. We are only a very small company so don't have a team of sales/marketing people. Trying to reach groups of teachers is very difficult. Even after engaging and they demonstrate great interest it is difficult to keep them engaged. I think this is partially down to their time constraints and often may be down to not speaking to the person with the purse strings.

I am producing a new game using the Boris character for independent travel training which is only at early stages. We are also going to be producing new ideas using Boris in games apps and selling through Microsoft stores and other platforms. We have just signed up as a publisher on Nasen SEND Gateway and plan to use this as a platform direct to SEN world for Boris and other forms of educational resources we have already.

Hope you can help in some way in terms of Boris. @gamelab_uk (twitter)
