I nearly died 5 yrs ago and I live with my brain and physical illness every time day. I think that people do not understand how hard to believe my illness because I try not to show my pain. Please can you tell me when people will understand a brain issue including the authorities.

Hi Kevin, I wish I could answer your question and i'm sure there are many others who wish they could too. We hear from a lot of people who feel that they have to prove their disability and they feel that people don't understand what they're going through and how it feels to live in constant pain. I can't give you a straightforward answer as to when people will understand but by sticking together and supporting each other through difficult times, hopefully we can raise awareness and dispel some of the myths frequently appearing in the media. If you need some information or advice about anything benefits related, please let me know. Best wishes Debbie

Thankyou and you listened to me more than the authorities do plus other people. Having a brain issue and physical issues most people don't understand.
