Hi, I am already in receipt of PIP I’ve done a reconsideration and I have had an assessment about 10 days ago I received this text today. Does this message mean that I’m going to have to do another assessment I’m quite confused about this ((((((Hello from Independent Assessment Services.     You said "you've done a reconsideration" do you mean you've requested a Mandatory Reconsideration? 

    You also mentioned having an assessment 10 days ago, was that for PIP?  If you've requested the MR then you don't usually have another assessment.

    Hi yes MR it was from the DWP regarding my MR and they want to go through an assessment on the phone which lasted about 30 minutes so really confused. I don’t know why I will have to do another one

    Last assessment for pip was quite some years ago, as it was extended through Covid and it was renewed without an assessment

    But my circumstances change that y put in for MR. As the last time my PIP was renewed was October. but I did not do an assessment for that as they renewed it

    I don't understand why you requested the MR if your circumstances changed. If circumstances changes then you would need to report a change. For the MR they won't take into consideration and changes in your health condition.
