My wife was given lcwra in 29th april 2024.
We migrated to UC on 6th feb, informed of health conditions on form, gp fitnote started from 8th feb. Our UC payment calculates from 6th to 5th of the following month.
Will she get lcwra payment from next month, 6th june? Considering gp fitnote starts from 8th feb? I thought you get self certify for first 7 days?

The waiting period will be Feb/March, March/April, April/May... LCWRA starts from 6th May to 5th June and first payment will be 12th June. Assuming there were no gaps in the fit notes. No LCWRA element is owed.
Yes, when you report a health condition, you have 7 days in which to provided a fit note.0 -
So because our uc month starts from 6th and fit note started from 8th feb. The two days dont make a difference for lcwra?
I thought they might disregards may/june and pay for june/july..0 -
No because as I advised, you have 7 days to provide a fit note once you report a health condition.1
