I'd tell them about your current GP and ask about a different one. I really hope they can recommend one for you. Keep us updated.

@egister I'm not sure on that but in my opinion I think it's pretty crappy that these so called GPS think they can do whatever they like without informing the patient it's wrong.

@mrsBB oh yeah I know even the receptionist has had her little comments on mine. She has written something about how I think that I have a season ticket for prescriptions whatever that means. I don't know exactly what she is getting at but yes it is true that I have a repeat prescription for sertraline.

The Practice Manager is responsible for maintaining those records. My GP has written that the reception staff felt intimidated by me which I accept was fair at that time. But I do not understand how reception staff themselves were allowed to add their thoughts to your medical notes!

A dental hospital described me as "fit and healthy" and all they would agree to do was include an annotation after that comment. I used POhWER advocacy to do this but it took many months then I had to write the letter myself anyway 🙄 Perhaps they're a bit better where you live?

What's harder to understand is that you have only ever been registered with one GP surgery so there's no excuse for failing to upload all your medical notes. In my case, we moved abroad, returned then the children's hospital closed and shredded my file so at least I know the subsequent GP's were not at fault (although every male doctor was unsurprisingly useless when it came to women's health).

I think your complaint is far more serious and you should take it up with your Clinical Commissioning Group once you have a response from the surgery.

I think that even criminals know all the documents of their criminal case in court, but patients do not have a similar right.

I think it is necessary by law to prohibit any records, both on paper and in information systems, about patients by non-doctors.
