Hi, my name is gareth1982! Offered LA house, need evidence of local connection
I have been offered a house with my local housing association, they asked for a local connection so I have told them my children from my previous marriage live locally to the house I’ve been offered. Now they are asking for 5 different pieces of evidence to show they have lived there for at least 5 years and given me less than a day to acquire it. All I have is a letter of tax credits from 7 years ago, another from 3 years ago and one from this year plus birth certificates for them and I’m worrying that it won’t be enough but I don’t know what else to show?

Hi @gareth1982 and welcome to the community.
Sorry this is a bit late. After searching, I found that you can use a utility bill (from the last 3 months) for the person you have a local connection to, in your case, your children from your previous marriage.
Have you managed to find anymore evidence or been given more time to hand it in?
