Research Request
Hi there,
My name is Susie and I work for an international disability rights organisation called ADD Internaional (www.add.org.uk). We have an intern working with us at the moment called Deus Ssekandi from Uganda. He is currently doing his masters at Goldsmiths in Human Rights, Culture and Social Justice. For his dissertation he is hoping to explore the internal (self-centred challenges) and external barriers (family and community challenges) to education for people with Cerebral Palsy in UK. He is looking to access a network of people with Cerebral Palsy, 4 people with CP, 2 parents and 2 teachers/ specialists who provide learning services to people with CP. I was wondering whether anyone might be able to help Deus in accessing some appropriate contacts?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Susie

Hi SusieBennett,
What will these people need to do? Is there an incentive?
What should people who are interested do to take part?
Thanks,

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your email, I think people just need to be able to give their time for an interview, so Deus will travel to wherever people are and conduct an interview. Unfortunately there is no incentive beyond a good feeling of helping someone carry out their research... would you know of any people that might be interested?
Many thanks,
Susie -
Hi Susie,
Thanks for the information. There are lots of people on this community who fit into those categories. Unfortunately there are also lots of people doing research and surveys.
Hope you find some people to take part.
Thanks,
Alex

Sorry for the slow reply, I've been on holiday but that's fantastic news, thank you so much. Is there an email I could contact you on?
Many thanks again,
