ESA/pip - Why a second medical?

Hi there I had a medical for ESA in April with atos and I have just had another medical with atos for my pip I passed my ESA medical with over 15 points I don't understand why I had to go to a pip medical with the same company is this right thanks Marcia

Hi @marcia66

ESA and PIP are different benefits with different criteria. You have to have a separate 'medical' (assessment) for each.
