Lcwra payment?
Good afternoon. Been accepted for lcwra, first time. Also got pip awarded after a tribunal. Been on pip 6 months. Question is I put in my 1st sick note on the 14th September, my assessment dates run from the 23rd September to 22nd October. When will I receive the lcwra payment please?. I'm a bit confused with the 3 months wait. I'm now 52 and been suffering bad the last 2 years with stress and severe burnout. Worked all my life, and stupidly I know, I feel guilty about having to live without work. I probebly won't ever work again, and the benefits will just about cover everything, food rent etc. God knows what I'm going to do with myself. Since lockdown I think I have been out of the home 3 times, the world overwhelms me sometimes, and I find my home my safe place I suppose.

There is a waiting period of 3 full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment. There is no money payable during that time.
Assuming there were no gaps in providing Fit Notes:
August/September AP: Fit note provided *partial AP not counted for waiting period *
September/October: AP 1
October /November: AP 2
November/December: AP 3
December/January: Eligible for LCWRA
End January: First LCWRA element paid.

Thank you very much. So end of January. That's cool. Atleast I can budget a bit better around Xmas time. Have a good day.
