Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community!
Please see our Benefits Overview for information about PIP.It notes:
"From October 2015 all working-age people still receiving DLA will be reassessed and if their claim is successful, moved onto PIP.
If you were 65 or over on 8 April 2013 and receiving DLA, you can continue to receive it as long as you satisfy the entitlement conditions."
I would also check the most recent DLA award paperwork you received to see if it mentions PIP. -

The DWP will contact you in due course and ask you to apply for PIP. I understand that they plan to contact everyone still due to be re-assessed for PIP by Sept 2017 - but this date could slip because of a backlog. -
I've just got a letter to say I will have to apply now for PIP . I turned 61 last November. Just waiting now for my forms to fill in
